Children's Miracle Network In 1992 RE/MAX became the official real estate sponsor for Children's Miracle Network. That exciting announcement allowed the organization to accomplish two objectives. The first was to affiliate with a national charity distinguished for improving health care for children. The second was to make the world a better place for the people RE/MAX serves. Children's Miracle Network (CMN) is an international organization dedicated to raising funds for more than 170 hospitals in North America; helping more than 14 million children annually. The beauty of the relationship between RE/MAX and CMN is that 100% of the funds stay in the community in which they are raised. In the RE/MAX of Southeastern Michigan region (Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, and Monroe Counties), agent’s contributions help fund scholarships to the Communication Station Preschool through William Beaumont Hospital; Michigan’s first hospital based preschool for children with speech and language impairments. Regionally, donations to the preschool total more than $80,000 annually. After the first year of donating to the preschool program, they honored the organization by renaming the program the -- RE/MAX Communication Station Preschool. RE/MAX agents across Michigan support CMN with contributions that total over $300,000 annually. In addition to William Beaumont Hospital; DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, Hurley Medical Center in Flint, and Sparrow Hospital in Lansing are also supported by RE/MAX donations. The main fundraising endeavor that allows RE/MAX agents to be so generous is the Miracle Home Program. It allows sales associates to donate a portion of their commission from each transaction. Local offices and agents also host independent fund-raisers to raise even more money for CMN, some of which include Balloon Rallies, 5K runs, and raffles. --Top--
